SUMMER IN THE MUSEUM CONTINUES – A PICNIC IN THE MUSEUM OF YUGOSLAVIA

Museum of Yugoslavia invites you to Picnic, an all-day socializing in the Museum Park and the cafe, with which the program Summer in the Museum continues. The program will be held on Sunday, June 16, from 12 to 20 p. m; the entrance is free.

The association, Kišobran, along with cafe Zaokret, Cabinet Brewery and the Burger House, successfully organizes Picnic at different locations in Belgrade to promote the culture of going to the nature, raise awareness of the environmental protection, as well as of healthy lifestyle. This time, for the location is selected the Park of the Museum of Yugoslavia, which connects all the objects within the museum complex and the garden of the new museum cafe, K25.

The program of the event is designed to provide all visitors with an experience of the trip in the countryside, with great music program, carefully selected to showcase young artists of the local alternative scene, namely DJs: Do the Math, Feloneezy, and Stevie Whisper, as well as pop-jazz band Rogi. All the equipment and programs will be provided by the organizers. We invite all visitors to bring their own picnic packages: blankets, pillows, balls, frisbees, favorite snacks, and good mood. During the entire duration of the program, exhibition spaces of the Museum of Yugoslavia will be open and accessible to all visitors.

The Museum of Yugoslavia, in partnership with the municipality of Savski Venac, has launched a project called Summer in the Museum, with the idea to promote the Museum as a place for socializing and entertainment.

May 25, TRESE.LUPA.UDARA at 8 p.m. on the plateau in front of the Museum of Yugoslavia

June 16, PIKNIK from 12 a. m. to 8 p.m. in the Park of Sculptures of the Museum of Yugoslavia

July 13, MOUSSAKA BAND at 8 p. m. on the plateau in front of the Museum of Yugoslavia

August 24, EVENING OF THE YU VINYL at 7 p. m. on the plateau in front of the Museum of Yugoslavia.
