Closing of the Summer in the Museum MADE IN Y(o)U – contemporary regional circus scene

The Museum of Yugoslavia invites you to the closing of the 9th season of the Summer in the Museum on Saturday, September 13th at 4 p.m. This year’s Summer closes with a spectacular program presenting the contemporary regional circus scene. United within the Made in YoU platform, circus artists from Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia are working together to open new spaces and situations and to bring contemporary circus art closer to a new audience.

If you don’t know what contemporary circus is, if you want to try some of the circus skills or if you are a passionate circus fan, this is the event for you.

The entire space of the Museum’s Sculpture Park will be a stage for various circus forms, which will bring the audience closer to a new form of this old performative art – learn about the circus through a conversation, a photo exhibition, films about the circus, but also through excerpts from selected shows and performances.

A workshop is organised for the youngest visitors where they can try their hand at juggling, aerial acrobatics and balance exercises.

Circus stunts will be accompanied by music selected by DJ Yahweh and Erol Zaguani.

Performance by the cult band Skier&Yeti will close the program.

Admission is free. See you!
