Exhibition Lubarda – One Story in the Gallery of the House of the Army of Serbia in Belgrade

The exhibition Lubarda – One Story, which is realized as a cooperation of the Media Centre “Defence”, the Heritage House and the Museum of Yugoslavia, will be open from December 9 to February 5, 2022, in the Gallery of the House of the Army of Serbia.

In addition to paintings and drawings, the exhibition will include archival photo material. One part of the material isfrom the Heritage House, and the other, previously unknown to the public, from the photo archive of the JNA House, now the Media Centre “Defence”. That will be complemented by selected pieces from the fond of the Museum of Yugoslavia, which were gifts to the President of the SFRY Josip Broz Tito.

The team of the exhibition authors comprises of: Jelena Knežević from the Media Centre “Defence”, Dina Pavić from the Heritage House and Ana Panić from the Museum of Yugoslavia, whileAleksandra Kapor from the Media Centre “Defence” was in charge of the visual identity of the catalogue and the exhibition.

During the exhibition, guided tours by the exhibition authors are organized on December 18, January 15 and February 5 at 1 p.m.

The Origins: The Background for Understanding the Museum of Yugoslavia
